Luxoft Introduces Next Generation Automotive Cockpit Technology Demonstrator

The Uk based IT solutions and software development services company, Luxoft Holding recently unveiled the AllView II - the next generation automotive cockpit technology. The technique has been designed with a view to give people a preview what it will be to sit and experience in-vehicle user interaction techniques. It is beyond anybody’s imagination right now to drive in connected cars, autonomous driving, and under the influence of automotive Internet of Things (IoT). 

The AllView II is compliant with GENIVI Alliance requirements and has been derived from Luxoft’s reference design platform. It also comes installed with diverse human machine interfaces and user experience interface concepts like gesture, touch, natural language, eye-tracking, and voice recognition systems. It also displays how user interface alters whenever a vehicle or car enters the autonomous driving mode. The maker has blessed the cockpit with a Car2x workload-adaptive HMI system along with a seamless nomadic device integration system to fuse IoT and connected car with the current social media based lifestyle. 

The vice president for this technology strategy, Vasily Suvorov, says, “AllView II is designed to showcase our vision for how automotive cockpit environments need to evolve with the advent of new technologies and concepts. It also highlights the ways in which Luxoft’s development services can help achieve this.” The software system centralizes on the infotainment, digital cluster, connected services, and integrated HMI software architecture. While demonstrating the functions and experience, the prime focus of HMI and UX is on main concepts like gesture recognition, eye tracking, and understanding the natural language. The in-vehicle infotainment system mainly focuses on the access of social media with the help of its messaging co-pilot that makes response and reaction to messages safe for the driver. This also helps in integration with cloud services and wireless devices, thus resulting in better telecommunication, navigation, and climate control abilities.
